Sri yantra, also known as Sri Chakra, is called the mother of all yantras because all other yantras derive from it

Sri Yantra or sri chakra meru is one of the most auspicious powerful Yantras

The Devi resides at the central bindu of Sri Yantra. There are total 108 Devis in the 9 avaranas of Sri Yantra. Ganesha, Soorya, Vishnu and Shiva recide at the four corners of the Sri Yantra. All the 8 Lakshmis, Saraswati, the Nityas,the Yoginis and in fact every Devi controlling each and every aspect of our life and the world reside in the Sri Yantra.

When you sit facing the east and with the tip of the top triangle pointing at you, at the bottom right hand side corner of the Srichakra is guarded by Lord Ganesha. The bottom left hand side corner is guarded by Lord Surya. The top left side corner is guarded by Lord Vishnu and the top right corner of the Srichakra is guarded by Lord Shiva. They must be worshipped before starting the Pooja of the Nava-Avaranas.After that the eight primordial directions are guarded by the eight Lokapalas. Indra guards the East, Agni guards the South East, Yama guards the South,Nairuti guards the South West, Varuna guards the West, Vayu guards the North West, Soma guards
the North and Ishana guards the North East.As if this is not enough, each of the first eight Avaranas are guarded by eight Bhairavas and eight Bhairavis! What is more these 64 pairs of Bhairavas & Bhairavis are assisted by 10 million yoginis each – total 640 million (64 crores). This is what the verse in Lalita Sahasranama says –Yes. Reaching Her is a bit difficult!

The Sri Yantra is a configuration of nine interlocked triangles, surrounded by two circles of lotus petals with the whole encased within a frame The centered around the bindu are drawn by the superimposition of five downward pointing triangles, representing Shakti the female principle and four upright triangles representing Shiva

The Shri Chakra is also known as the nav chakra because it can also be seen as having nine levels.

Trailokya Mohan or Bhupar a square of three lines with four portals
Sarva Aasa Paripurak a sixteen-petal lotus
Sarva Sankshobahan an eight-petal lotus
Sarva Saubhagyadayak consists of fourteen small triangles
Sarva Arthasadhak consists of ten small triangles
Sarva Rakshakar consists of ten small triangles
Sarva Rogahar consists of eight small triangles
Sarva Siddhiprada consists of 1 small triangle
Sarva Anandamay consists of a point or bindu

Srichakra Mahima

The greatness of shrichakra is described in rudrayamaLa thus:

By seeing a shrichakra with devotion, one attains the same merit as having performed hundreds of fire sacrifices.

By seeing a shrichakra , one attains the same merit as performing sixteen kinds of charities including kanya dana, godana, svarna dana etc.

By seeing a shrichakra with devotion, one attains the same merit as bathing in innumerable tirthas.

By worshipping shrichakra as prescribed by the shAstras, one attains the same merit as installing innumerable shiva lingas.

By giving a shrichakra to an upasaka as dana, one attains the same merit as giving the entire bhumandala in dana to a dvija

The person who worship sri chakra meru or yantra he/she will get relief from all problems

Procedure to worship sri chakra

FOR HINDUS

Shri Yantra Sthaapana in your home/office/vehicle is done on a Friday. Soak in saline water overnight (Thursday night). This takes away all negativity from the crystal. Then take it out, wash in normal water and keep on moist earth (mud) under sunlight for few hours. Then take it for Puja.

Place Yantra on a plate and wash it with water, and milk mixed with saffron. Then wash it again with water. Light incense and sprinkle water where the Yantra is to be kept chanting "Aim Hreem Namah”. Place yellow cloth and a sheet of silver/gold and place Yantra on it. Put Kum Kum/ Sandal paste Offer flowers (yellow), (jaggery), raw turmeric and incense to the Yantra.

Chant 108 times the following mantra : "Om, Shreem Hreem Shreem Kamle Kamalalaye Praseed, Praseed, Shreem, Hreem Shreem Om Mahalaxmaye Namah"

Then cover Shree Yantra with red cloth.

Pray and worship every Friday without lifting from Seat. Every Friday take off the red cloth and offer fresh flowers and offer jaggery, turmeric and incense to the Yantra.

The tip of the Shree Yantra is called bindu means lalithambica or maha tripura sundari or Raja Rajeswari
Meditation is done on the tip of the Shree Yantra and while chanting Mahalaxmi Mantra concentrate on the tip and meditate with open eyes.

FOR OTHER RELIGIONS

Sri Yantra or sri chakra meru works on the cosmic ray theory, apart from Hindus even Muslims, Christians and people following other religions also believe in it because they believe in the cosmic ray theory they can keep at the place of worship. They also concentrate on the tip and meditate with open eyes.
